The basics of working with Abubakar Studio through this website.
1. Overview
By using this website or engaging Abubakar Studio (“we”, “us”) for work, you agree to these terms. A specific project may also be governed by a separate written proposal or agreement, which takes precedence where it conflicts with this page.
2. Services & scope
We provide web & software development, Shopify, systems, automation, SEO and design. The precise deliverables, timeline and price for any engagement are defined in a proposal agreed before work begins.
3. Quotes & pricing
Prices shown on the site are starting points, not final quotes. After a short scoping call we provide a fixed, written quote with clear deliverables and timelines.
4. Payment
Payment terms (for example a deposit to start and a balance on completion) are set out in your proposal. Invoices are due by the date stated on them.
5. Your responsibilities
Timely delivery depends on you providing content, access, feedback and approvals when needed. Delays in these may affect timelines and cost.
6. Revisions & delivery
The number of revision rounds and the delivery window are defined per plan or proposal. Additional work beyond the agreed scope is quoted separately.
7. Ownership
On final payment, ownership of the code, designs and accounts we produce for your project is transferred to you. Until then, they remain our property. We may retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio unless agreed otherwise.
8. Third-party services
Projects may rely on third-party platforms and services (for example hosting, Shopify, payment or automation tools). Their own terms and fees apply, and we are not responsible for outages or changes on their side.
9. Warranties & liability
We deliver work with reasonable skill and care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and our services are provided “as is”, and our liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the relevant engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
